The Witcher: Outcast
In 2007, the first part of The Witcher was now released. Few people know, but in the same year CD Projekt Red began work not only on the second part, but also on DLC (very large DLC) to the first part called The Witcher: Outcast. Although the entire main part of the development was taken on Roxidy’s shoulders (their most famous creation is Neverwinter Nights: Wyvern Crown of Cormyr)
On the design of the hopacasino.co.uk mechanic of the game, I would not undergo any significant changes. The story would unfold in 1190, during the time of King Aerdirn Sudemont, on the Fareo, the most remote South Island Skelliga.
The plot of the plot would be one old story from the past Jarl Harald.
In the early 50s on Morgan, the wife of the Yarl, the monster attacked, piercing her stomach. Although she survived, Harald vowed to take revenge.
After the first unsuccessful battle with the monster, the bleeding Yarl realized that he could not win alone. Then he made a deal with an alchemist Schiltzen. The dwarf demanded as a first -year -old reward. Not seeing another exit, the wounded Harald agreed.
After the death of the beast, peace and peace reigned on the island: nothing now threatened ordinary residents.
After a couple of months, Morrigan gave birth to twins. The first child, Astrid, was a healthy and ordinary baby, but the second, Hafnir, looked like a real monster.
Harald, remembering the deal and fearing the fact that, as the custom of their lands, they will have to leave both twins because of the ugliness of one of them, secretly from all he gave the Schiltsen of Hafnir to pay the debt.
A few years later, Morrigan died, giving birth to the Yarl’s second son – Sven. Harold marries Gisl.
Peaceful years interrupted a whole series of attacks of mysterious monsters. The villagers immediately accused the non -humans and began to hunt them. Harald sailed to the mainland in search of the famous Witcher Geralt to hire him to solve the problem. The Witcher, of course, agrees.
Hafnir began to hunt for heralt. Astrid is trying to persuade the witcher not to kill him: her brother did not kill anyone, but only biting pregnant women, forcing the children to mutate in the womb.
Harald admitted that in fact he deceived the gnome: Astrid was purely technically the firstborn.
In addition to everything, it turned out that the current wife knew about Hafnir and that she personally poisoned Morrigan. Gilas also tuned the people of the islands against Sven.
In the final, Geralt was returning to the castle of Yarl. He was met by Hafnir with his father’s body at his feet. Harold refused to recognize the mutant’s right to his title, for which he was killed.
After the battle with the Hafnir, a crowd of peasants, under the guidance of Gisla, who wants to kill Sven, approaches the castle and “cleanse the blood of the Harald clan”. This leads to one of the three endings:
1) The beast is dead. Sven becomes a yard and gives heralt reward.
2) The beast is dead. Sven hangs, and Ragnar, the son of Gisla becomes the Yarl.
3) The beast is dead. Sven becomes the Yarl. All peasants are dead. Geralt runs from Fareo.
Regardless of the final choice, it turns out that Astrid is pregnant. Her child is a mutant. The prophecy actually spoke of the fate of the Hafnir race.
